Dale "Hank" Harris - Lead Guitarist & Backing Vocals

Dale is a professional musician, a Doctor Of Musicology, & a classical & electric guitarist based in London (UK). He has played solo classical guitar recitals, performed concerti with orchestras & he has accompanied music industry legends such as Cliff Richard & Lorne Gibson. Dale's musicological analysis theories have been featured on BBC Radio 3. Moreover, as a lutenist, Dale's performances have contributed to the soundtracks of television documentaries for BBC TV & others. Dale is particularly suited to the role of Hank Marvin mainly because he skips lunch most days!
Mike "Bruce Welch" Mountford - Rhythm Guitar, Lead Vocals

Since childhood Mike has had a keen interest & love for music. As a young lad he became obsessed with all things Beatles and is the founder of The Vox Beatles whom he performs regularly with when not playing with Sound of The Shadows. Alongside the Beatles, Mike also enjoys the music of The Shadows & Cliff Richard along with other artistes of the 50 & 60's. With his brother John, he was also part of a successful band called "The Four Beats" who were very prominent on the music scene in the 80's/90's. In the past he has also been Brighton Palace Pier's entertainment presenter and host. In addition to the Sound of The Shadows & The Vox Beatles you can also expect to see Mike and John in their other band called "The Mysterons" who play a selection of well-known hits from 50's to 90's. Mike plays a Fender Stratocaster (USA), 1961 Watkins Rapier 33, J160 & sings lead & backing vocals. In his spare time, he enjoys learning about history with a special interest in WWII planes. He has also in the past written and recorded his own album called "Tumble Drying" which includes own written tracks & some covers of well known songs by various artistes. Take a Listen here.
Rob "Jet Harris" Hopkins - Bass Guitar & Backing Vocals

Rob was born just down the road from where original Shadow bassist Jet Harris was in London. On being invited to join The Sound of the Shadows, Rob immediately knew the challenges that lay ahead - namely being the eye candy for the band and having blond hair! What Rob lacks, he makes up for with his years of playing, love of Shadows music and recreating their lovely vintage bass sound. Rob's interests include cricket, performing at open mic nights and spending time with family and friends.
John "Brian Bennett" Mountford - Drums & Backing Vocals

John is Mike's brother and has been playing in various bands with Mike notably the "The Four Beats" and along with Mike, was at the very start of the formation of The Vox Beatles and The Sound of The Shadows. John has a great sense of humour and got his first drum as a Christmas present back in the sixties and then became a drummer of the Boy's Brigade. He now plays a Ludwig Black Oyster pearl kit and sings some vocals.
In his spare time he is also the drummer of The Vox Beatles and The Mysterons. His hobbies include drawing and painting, travel and spending time with his family.
